It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to start planning where to see fireworks. This summer is flying by!! Here is a list of local spots where you can catch the shows:

Danbury

Danbury Fair Mall
July 1 at dusk
Concerts in the Overflow Lot from 6pm – 10pm

 

New Milford

New Milford Fireworks Celebration
Saturday, July 2 (rain date for Fireworks only is July 29)

5pm – New Milford Lions Club Carnival at Young’s Field
6pm – The Women’s Club of Greater New Milford constructs giant birthday cake in celebration of America’s birthday – on the Green
6:30pm – opening ceremony – on the Green
9:30pm (approx.) – Fireworks will start on Fort Hill/Still Meadow
Hosted by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce

 

Ridgefield

Fireworks Celebration at Ridgefield High School
July 4 (rain date July 5)
Gates open at 6pm, fireworks begin at dusk
No admittance without parking pass ($20, can be purchased at Fairfield County Bank, Ridgefield Town Hall, Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce – cash or check only)

July 4 (rain date July 8)
Fireworks and laser light show
Fireworks launched at 9:30 from across the lake – get a spot on the beach early for the best viewing
